Cellaris manufactures revolutionary ceramic foam capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1800°C (3250°F). This non-fibrous, highly porous and ultralight ceramic material is produced using a unique, proprietary and patented technology.
This breakthrough provides the next-generation platform for the vast market of high-temperature applications, including furnace insulation, kiln furniture, combustion systems, fuel cells and aviation insulation. Other industrial uses include catalytic support and filtration media. Cellaris has made its initial strides in the market of thermal insulation for high-temperature furnaces. Products for other markets are in development. Cellaris operates a demonstration/ commercial-scale production plant at the Bar Lev Industrial Park in Northern Israel. The production facility enjoys Approved Enterprise status, resulting in significant tax benefits.
